Support Our School

Here are four ways that you can support programs and activities at Mears.

Parent, Teacher, Student Association
Box Tops For Education

The Mission of the Mears PTSA, is to provide enrichment programs for students, to provide a resource for parents to stay in touch with the school, to provide support for Mears staff, to facilitate positive Middle School memories for ALL our children by sponsoring fun events, and to facilitate unity in our community. We invite and welcome you to join us as a member!

For more information and instructions for joining the Mears PTSA go to the PTSA page.

Be sure to collect the Box Tops for Education tags from Betty Crocker products, General Mills products and hundreds of others. Collection jars are in the Student Services office and in the Library. Proceeds from this program support our Life Skills classes.

For more information on the Box Tops for Education program visit their website.

eScrips at Carrs
Used Magazine Donations

Signing up for eScrip is a great way to help support the PTSA's efforts to improve Mears Middle School! All you have to do is register your Carrs card. The PTSA will get a donation directly from Safeway based on your shopping tally each time you shop at Carrs. It's easy to change schools or you can have up to 3 schools benefit from your shopping.

Would you like to move those old magazines out of your house? Send them to school as a donation to the cut-up bin. Mears students will recycle them into beautiful artwork and school projects. Magazines can be dropped off in the library or at the main entrance.
